They lived happily ever after or so we all hope will be the case. We feel we are giving a child a wonderful new life, love, bestowing gifts on them and that they will be ever so thankful for what we are doing for them, however, this is not always the case. Sometimes special needs kids have deep rooted problems that cannot be handled by adoption. Other times, they may not be able to attach to their new family.
