Introduction

I wanted to pop in and introduce myself as the new Adoption Guru here at Life Tips.  My name is Crystal, and I am the mom of five terrific kids (IMHO).  Three of my children are adopted (though I can’t remember which ones *grin*), through both private and foster child adoption.   My husband and I were foster parents for several years, and I am now a Recruitment Ambassador for a foster care/ public adoption agency in our community.

I am not new to writing about adoption and foster care.  I spent several months as a feature writer for the adoption section at Suite101.com, as well as writing articles for Associated Content and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children).  Adoption is my passion and I have researched extensively on the topic.  I firmly believe that every child deserves a forever family, and consider it a privilege to work in any way I can to ensure that as many children find homes as possible.
